Inside a Straw Hat Factory Inspection
Two straw hats can look different in colour. This short factory visit shows why the visual comparison is only one part of an inspection record.

What the close-ups show
The footage includes visible fibre ends on a natural-straw surface. The useful comparison is against the agreed appearance and finish, alongside shape, measurements, workmanship, labels and packaging.
How to use this record
This edited video illustrates the checkpoints seen during one visit. It is not a full lot-inspection report, a test certificate or a claim that every item in an order was examined.
How should bulk straw hats be compared with the approved reference?
Confirm the approved reference and appearance requirements. Photograph both under the same lighting; record colour, shape, measurements, workmanship, labels and packaging separately, then assess against the agreed criteria. A photo alone cannot establish the cause of a difference or the condition of the whole lot.
Are visible fibre ends automatically a defect?
No. Record where and how visibly they occur, then compare them with the agreed appearance and finish. Natural straw does not automatically relax the agreed standard.
English video transcript
Can you spot the difference? These two straw hats look different in colour. But one photo isn't the whole inspection. At the factory, I checked hat shape and measurements, then workmanship, labels and packaging. I also examined the straw surface and visible fibre ends. With natural straw, the key is to compare what you see with the agreed finish. That's what a useful inspection record should show. Which detail would you check first?
